Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026 · Effective: July 17, 2026
Dreamseed is a narrated story app for children developed by KUBEWorks. This policy explains what information we process, why we need it, and how a parent or legal guardian can control it.
1. Parent-owned accounts and parental controls
Dreamseed accounts are created and managed by an adult parent or legal guardian. Sign-in is available through Apple, Google, or email and password. Children cannot create an account independently.
Sensitive actions such as purchases, opening external links, signing out, and deleting the account are protected by a parent gate. The adult account holder is responsible for the child profiles created under the account.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide the app, keep it secure, deliver purchases, and answer support requests.
- Parent account data: a stable account identifier, email address when provided by the sign-in provider, and securely hashed password credentials for email sign-in.
- Child profile data: a first name or nickname, age from 2–10, interests, and an optional gender choice used for presentation. We do not ask for a child’s surname, exact birth date, address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- Story data: generation choices and prompts, generated text, narration, illustrations, safety decisions, and reports submitted by the parent.
- Purchase data: Apple product and transaction identifiers, subscription status and dates, generation allowance, and separately purchased credit balance. KUBEWorks never receives complete payment-card details.
- Operational data: limited security, reliability, and abuse-prevention records needed to operate the service. We do not add third-party advertising analytics SDKs.
3. How we use information
We use information only to provide and protect Dreamseed, personalize age-appropriate stories, moderate generated content, manage access and balances, restore purchases, respond to support, and comply with legal obligations.
- Authenticate the parent and keep the account secure.
- Show suitable curated stories and create optional personalized stories.
- Generate narration and illustrations and run child-safety checks.
- Verify Apple purchases and maintain Premium, allowance, and top-up records.
- Investigate reports, prevent abuse, and answer requests from the parent.
4. AI-generated stories and service providers
When a parent chooses to create a story, the minimum information needed for that generation is sent to contracted text, speech, image, moderation, and alignment providers. We minimize direct identifiers in those provider requests and do not send the parent’s email address as story-prompt content.
Generated stories pass through automated safety checks. A parent can report and immediately hide a story in the app. Providers may process information only to deliver the contracted service and under the safeguards applicable to our agreement with them.
5. No advertising, sale, or cross-app tracking
Dreamseed does not display third-party advertising. We do not sell personal information, share it for behavioral advertising, or use third-party technologies to track a child or parent across apps and websites.
6. When information is shared
Information is shared only with vendors needed to run Dreamseed, such as Supabase for authentication and backend services, Apple for sign-in and payments, Google when Google sign-in is chosen, hosting and email delivery services, and the AI providers described above.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect a child or another person, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements. It is never shared for advertising.
7. Retention and security
Account-linked information is kept while the account is active and only as long as needed afterward for deletion processing, security, fraud prevention, purchase records, legal duties, and backups. Retention periods differ by record type and applicable law.
We use encrypted transport, access controls, server-side secret storage, private storage for user-generated media, and account-scoped deletion. No system can promise absolute security, but we review and improve these protections continuously.
8. Parent choices, access, and deletion
Parents can edit child profile information in the app. The entire account can be deleted from Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by writing to destek@dreamseed.kubeworks.ai from the address associated with the account.
Account deletion removes or schedules removal of the account, child profiles, generated stories, private media, reports linked to the account where legally permitted, and local user-scoped caches. Some minimal purchase, security, or legal records may be retained where required. You may contact us to request access, correction, or other rights available in your region.
9. Children’s privacy
Dreamseed is designed for use by children under adult supervision, but the account and all meaningful controls belong to the parent. We deliberately minimize child-profile data and do not ask children to submit contact details or precise location.
If you believe a child provided personal information outside the intended profile fields, contact destek@dreamseed.kubeworks.ai so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will change the date above and provide additional notice when required.
Questions, privacy requests, and child-safety concerns can be sent to destek@dreamseed.kubeworks.ai. Developer and data controller: KUBEWorks.
